Starting from the time warp station at Box Hill & Westhumble you'll have some of the finest mountain biking terrain ahead of you. You'll be traveling along sections of the Greensand way following the line of the Surrey Hills' unique green sand escarpment.

Time 6 hours (with an hour off in the middle for lunch usually at a local pub)

The ride will set off through the Denbies Wine Estate; amazingly europe's biggest Vineyard in single ownership. We'll take in The Rookery, Leith Hill, Holmbury Hill, Peaslake, Pitch Hill, Winterfold Wood, and Shere, before returning via the North Downs or, alternatively, the proposed route of National Cycle Network 22.
We will of course have the option to stop for refreshments at Coldharbour, Leith Hill Tower and Peaslake Village Stores.
Please be aware that overall the ride is rated as strenuous and has a ▣ Blue (moderate) technical rating.
If this doesn't sound like your cup of tea, please consider trying one of our other Cross Country Loops or Singletrack Rides (which are more technically difficult and much shorter in duration).
You will need the following equipment
You won't need to carry tools, a trailside repair kit or a first aid kit as your guide will have all of this.
Our Surrey Hills Killer Loop ride starts at Box Hill & Westhumble railway station. Trains run regularly out of London from Victoria Station and onwards to Dorking and Horsham.
Rides start promptly at the time stated in the schedule of rides. Please aim to be there at least 20 minutes early to be fully ready to ride.
