Leith Hill, the highest summit in South-East England Crowned by an 18th-century Gothic tower, has some of the very best singletrack riding in The Surrey Hills.

The route

The route will vary from ride to ride taking in plenty of classic singletrack; all connected with some beautiful XC riding through the likes of Duke’s Warren, Wotton Common and The Rookery.

There’ll also be time for a short break to sample the fantastic cakes sold from the National Trust tower at the summit.

There are also some freeride options for the more adventurous; with names like Deliverance and Personal Hygiene, its not hard to image the seriousness.

Time permitting we may also visit the Dippers area at the top of the hill where you can test your roller coaster riding skills.

Experience & fitness

Please be aware that overall the ride is rated as challenging and has a Red (difficult) technical rating.

If this doesn't sound like your cup of tea, please consider trying one of our Cross Country Rides which are less technically difficult (although much longer in duration).

You won't need to carry tools, a trailside repair kit or a first aid kit as your guide will have all of this.

Where and when to meet

Leith Hill Singletrack rides start at the National Trust 'Landship' car park about half a mile South of Coldharbour.

Rides start promptly at the time stated in the schedule of rides. Please aim to be there at least 20 minutes early to be fully ready to ride.
