Awaydays

Every year we leave the The Surrey Hills and try a little riding a bit further afield in National Parks and purpose built trail centres around England and Wales.

We don't charge for these Awaydays; we see them as a great way for our customers to have a fun time on us and to meet some new friends and riding companions for future Surrey Hills adventures.

We only ask that you are an existing customer; look at it as a kind of Reward Scheme.

Past Awaydays

In the last few years we have held Awaydays in the following locations.

Accommodation

We usually stay at YHA accommodation as close to the trails as possible. Riders are expected to arrange and pay for accommodation and food out of their own pockets; we're not THAT generous.

Experience & fitness

We try to match each ride to the experience and fitness of the people who attend.

Please be aware that rides on Awaydays usually have an intermediate to hard rating.

Equipment required

You will need the following equipment

Plus enough spare clothing and casual gear for a weekend.

You won't need to carry tools, a trailside repair kit or a first aid kit as your guide will have all of this.

Booking

Booking is by invitation only to existing Surrey Hills Mountain Bike Guides customers.
